My dear Uncle Harry,

The enclosed reached me to-day. The writer has evidently been wrongly informed, as his informant Miss Waldie used to see Father, when in town 18 months ago, and she has evidently given him the impression that she had seen you. Please don’t trouble to acknowledge this.
